With one of the most attractive film funding programmes in North America, the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation is one of the key reasons the region is becoming known around the globe as a desirable place to bring your production.

While filming in Ontario, your production may qualify for several different tax credits, including a regional bonus if you shoot outside of Toronto. For more information regarding production, post production and labour tax credits, please contact the Ontario Media Development Corporation

For information on the Canadian Federal Government tax credit, please contact the Department of Canadian Heritage

Canada has co-production treaties and MOUs with more then 50 countries. Telefilm Canada  administers those treaties and MOUs on behalf of the Government of Canada.

A number of Northern Ontario film liaisons and producers are qualified to navigate the funding sources and agencies and assistance is just a phone call away.
