With support from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation, Music & Film in Motion is pleased to introduce the Northern Ontario Sneak Peek Film Screening Program.

This new program is designed to see cast, crew, service providers and community leaders that hosted a Northern Ontario film production reunite to view the film that was created in their town or region.

Representatives of the film production created in Northern Ontario can apply for a maximum amount of $5,000 to help facilitate the screening. A maximum of 25% of this approved funding will be made available leading up to the screening. This program is designed to support screenings prior to a film’s release to the general public.

Eligible costs for Sneak Peek Film Screening Program include:
•    Rental of venue for screening
•    Travel of key individuals and personnel to attend the screening
•    Project coordination for the screening
•    Communications & marketing for the screening
•    After party/reception expenses (excluding alcoholic beverages)

NOTE: The Northern Ontario Sneak Peek Film Screening Program is not intended to generate revenue to offset production costs or generate a profit for the production or the community in which the participating film was shot in. The general expectation is that attendees should not be charged admission to the screening unless a reasonable rationale for doing so is provided and approved by Music & Film in Motion. The Recipient agrees to allow MFM to sponsor a subsequent screening of the film at Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival or another regional film festival. MFM may waive this right, at its discretion.
