Cultural Industries Ontario North (CION) is thrilled to bring back another round of the Northern Ontario Film Crew Training Sessions program, in partnership with REEL CANADA, IATSE 634, IATSE 411, and DGC - Ontario.
This free program is designed to introduce residents of Northern Ontario to the spectrum of roles and responsibilities that make possible Film & TV production. No matter your experience level, there is a role for you behind-the-scenes on some of the biggest hits coming out of the region -- we want to help you start your dream career in an industry like no other.
What's more, REEL CANADA may provide a stipend to eligible program graduates who reside in Northern Ontario and are between the ages of 18-30.
The Northern Ontario Film Crew Training Sessions program includes three full weekends of in-person training (9 AM - 5 PM on Saturdays and Sundays) in Greater Sudbury, Timmins, and North Bay, with venues to be announced shortly. Available training dates are as follows:
