Cultural Industries Ontario North (CION) is hosting the first edition of the Music Business Circle - an initiative that aims to re-spark and promote networking opportunities for musicians from Northern Ontario.
Through one-one-one virtual mentorships with industry experts, regional artists will have the opportunity to learn about music funding, performance booking, public relations, touring, and how to access their hard-earned royalties.
The program runs from November 28th-December 9th, 2022 - apply before Wednesday, November 16 for your chance to join in on the Music Business Circle!
The mentorships will be conducted as six 30-minute-long virtual sessions, where musicians can sign up with corresponding times that work for both parties. Selected artists will be contacted to confirm acceptance and to schedule sessions.
The program is designed to help export-ready mentees form an interdisciplinary perspective that allows them to better navigate the industry and develop stronger artist packages.
