Cultural Industries Ontario North (CION) is excited to partner with MusicOntario and M for Montréal in producing a new wave of Northern Ontario showcases in Québec!
Returning for a consecutive year, this showcase opportunity is for regional musicians across all genres who are ready to take the next step and perform for international audiences in beautiful Montréal: one of Canada's most bustling music markets.
Northern Ontario-based musicians and bands are encouraged to apply for the showcase before August 7, 2025.
Please Note:
- You must be a Northern Ontario artist to be eligible for CION's showcase.
- Showcases are brief – 15 minutes each, with 5 minutes to change over.
- If you are applying from Ontario, you can also contact MusicOntario directly to apply, as CION will be co-producing these showcases in collaboration with them!
Eligibility Criteria
Successful applicants must be:
- based in Northern Ontario
- available to travel between November 19 - November 22, 2025
- experienced in playing festivals/live events
- experienced in releasing music
- recipients of professional development opportunities
- export-ready.
All submissions to this showcase opportunity will be juried by an independent panel of industry professionals.
